The device is designed with contact Sensors for monitoring the sewage level. These contact sensors can be placed at multiple Levels (Eg: low, medium, high), as per customer requirement. When the sewage water gets in contact with one of the sensors, the device communicates with the LoRa Gateway using the standard LoRaWAN protocol and the data is transmitted to the network server. The web application processes this data and takes appropriate action like sending SMS, E-Mail and alerts to the registered users.
